The winning shot was chosen by the festival attendees out of over 100 entries from the cream of the world's wildlife filmmakers. The shot of a lion catching an impala from Panthera's film "In Broad Daylight" was filmed at Selinda in northern Botswana.

Panthera Productions' president, Will Taylor, said while accepting the award, "This is a great honor for Wayne and Panthera. To be chosen by your peers for an award, from a group as talented as this, is almost unbelievable. Thank you very much."
