Panthera Productions received word that it has been named as a finalist in the prestigious Wildscreen Film Festival to be held in Bristol, U.K. Wildscreen, held every two years, is often dubbed the world's leading festival of moving images from the natural world.

"George and the Rhino," which premiered on the Discovery Channel in 2001, was the realization of long-time desire of Panthera President Will Taylor to tell and African story from an African's perspective. The film tells the story of George Phiri, a real-life game scout in South Africa's Pilanesberg National Park who has dedicated his life to protecting black rhino.
